From 2022 to late 2024, I was the main production designer for all technical packs for new + reordered garments for the Buffalo Outdoors Workwear brand. Tech packs are used as detailed instructions to the garment factories on how to create the garment, fabrics that need to be used/weight of fabric, etc. in order to create the garment to our specifications. Other design elements include: branding instructions (hangtag, chest sticker, branded logo patch) packing assembly, and shipping instructions.

These tech packs are very specific and incorporated both elements of branding/marketing, and technical production design. I worked closely with the Production Dept. for any production-related information needed (barcode, size scale, and packing instructions). 

I also worked with sales team to determine details such as order quantity needed and timeline estimate from overseas. Depending on the garment (such as our Women’s Basic Leggings), packaging design was also heavily incorporated.
